JOB OVERVIEW
The Packer and Production Worker will support the daily operation of an ice cream and frozen dessert manufacturing facility.
The employee will be responsible for packing finished products, checking product information, maintaining production area cleanliness, following food hygiene procedures, assisting with product movement, and ensuring that assigned production activities are completed according to company standards.
The position requires employees to work carefully and efficiently because ice cream and frozen products must be handled according to specific storage, hygiene, packaging, and temperature requirements.
Employees will work under the direction of production supervisors, line leaders, or other authorized personnel.

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Pack finished ice cream products and frozen dessert products according to company packing procedures.
Prepare packaging materials and ensure that the required materials are available before production begins.
Check finished products to ensure that packaging is properly sealed and in acceptable condition.
Check product labels, batch numbers, production information, and expiry dates.
Ensure that products are correctly labelled before being transferred to storage or distribution areas.
Inspect products for visible damage, incorrect packaging, leakage, or other defects.
Separate damaged or defective products and report problems to the appropriate supervisor.
Arrange finished products into cartons, boxes, containers, or designated storage areas.
Assist with transferring products between production, packing, and storage areas.
Handle frozen and chilled products according to company procedures.
Follow temperature control requirements for products and storage areas.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in assigned production and packing areas.
Clean and organize workstations at the beginning and end of assigned duties.
Follow company food hygiene and sanitation requirements.
Follow workplace safety procedures at all times.
Use production equipment and tools according to company instructions.
Assist production staff with daily manufacturing activities.
Support the team in achieving daily production targets.
Assist with inventory and storage activities when required.
Check production materials and notify supervisors when supplies are running low.
