PUBLIC AREA CLEANER

The stated monthly salary range may include overtime earnings and attendance incentives. Final monthly earnings can depend on working hours, overtime availability, attendance, work performance, and other applicable employment conditions.
WORKING OPPORTUNITY
Employees will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in assigned public areas. The successful candidates are expected to complete daily cleaning duties according to company standards and instructions.
This role may involve regular standing, walking, bending, lifting cleaning materials, and performing other physical cleaning activities. Applicants should therefore be physically fit and capable of carrying out daily cleaning responsibilities.
MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Clean and maintain assigned public areas on a daily basis.
Maintain cleanliness in corridors, common areas, entrances, walkways, facilities, and other designated locations.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, wash, and sanitize assigned areas as required.
Collect and dispose of rubbish and waste according to company procedures.
Clean and maintain public facilities and common spaces.
Ensure assigned areas remain clean, hygienic, safe, and presentable.
Use cleaning equipment, tools, and cleaning materials correctly.
Maintain cleaning equipment and report any damaged or faulty equipment to the supervisor.
Follow established cleaning schedules and workplace procedures.
Follow all health, safety, and hygiene requirements.
Respond to cleaning requests from supervisors when required.
Assist with additional cleaning duties during busy periods or special occasions.
Work cooperatively with other members of the cleaning team.
Report maintenance problems, hazards, spills, or other issues to the appropriate supervisor.
Perform other reasonable duties related to public area cleaning as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS
Previous cleaning experience is an advantage but is not necessarily required.
Candidates should be physically fit and able to perform daily cleaning duties.
Must be responsible, hardworking, punctual, and dependable.
Must have a positive attitude toward work.
Must be willing to follow instructions from supervisors and management.
Must be able to work independently when required.
Must also be comfortable working with other members of a team.
Applicants must be willing to work shifts and flexible working schedules when required.
