Al Yousuf Global is currently seeking experienced, qualified, responsible, and safety conscious Mobile Crane Operators to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. We are looking for candidates who have solid practical experience in mobile crane operations and are capable of handling heavy lifting activities involving mobile cranes with capacities of up to 160 tons.

 

This recruitment opportunity is specifically open to candidates who are currently available inside the United Arab Emirates. Candidates who are already in the UAE and are ready to proceed with the recruitment and joining process are encouraged to submit their applications.

ABOUT THE POSITION

 

The Mobile Crane Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of mobile crane equipment during lifting, loading, unloading, positioning, and material handling activities.

 

The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of mobile crane operations and must be able to operate heavy lifting equipment responsibly and professionally. Safety is a major requirement for this position, and the operator must follow all applicable company procedures, project requirements, lifting instructions, and workplace safety regulations.

 

The operator will work closely with lifting supervisors, riggers, banksmen, engineers, site supervisors, and other members of the project team. Effective communication and coordination are essential to ensure that every lifting activity is completed safely and efficiently.

 

The selected candidate will also be expected to maintain awareness of the surrounding work area and ensure that lifting operations do not create unnecessary risks to personnel, equipment, structures, or other site activities.

 

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Operate mobile cranes safely and efficiently according to approved operating procedures.

 

Carry out lifting and material handling operations as instructed by authorized supervisors.

 

Conduct daily pre operation inspections of the mobile crane before beginning work.

 

Check important crane components and equipment before operating the machine.

 

Report any mechanical problems, equipment defects, unusual sounds, or operational issues immediately.

 

Ensure that the crane is positioned correctly before beginning lifting operations.

 

Check working conditions and surrounding areas before carrying out lifting activities.

 

Follow approved lifting plans and instructions provided by the lifting supervisor.

 

Maintain proper communication with banksmen, riggers, signalmen, and other members of the lifting team.

 

Follow all approved hand signals and communication procedures during lifting operations.

 

Ensure that loads are lifted, moved, positioned, and lowered safely.

 

Operate the crane within its approved lifting capacity and operating limitations.

 

Avoid unsafe lifting practices and immediately stop operations when unsafe conditions are identified.

 

Maintain proper control of the crane throughout the lifting process.

 

Ensure that personnel remain at a safe distance from suspended loads and operating equipment.

 

Follow all company health and safety procedures.

 

Follow project specific safety requirements and instructions.

 

Maintain the crane and surrounding work area in a clean and safe condition.

 

Assist with routine equipment checks and maintenance reporting when required.

 

Report any accident, incident, near miss, equipment failure, or unsafe condition to the appropriate supervisor.

 

Cooperate with site management and other departments to ensure smooth project operations.

 

Perform other reasonable duties related to crane operations as assigned by authorized management.

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

 

Applicants must have relevant professional experience as a Mobile Crane Operator.

 

Candidates should have practical experience operating mobile cranes with lifting capacities of up to 160 tons.

 

Applicants should have a good understanding of heavy lifting operations and safe crane operating procedures.

 

Candidates must understand the importance of equipment inspection and daily safety checks.

 

Relevant crane operator certification, license, or training credentials are preferred where applicable.

 

Previous experience working on construction sites, industrial projects, infrastructure projects, heavy lifting projects, logistics operations, or similar environments will be considered an advantage.

 

Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety.

 

Applicants should be responsible, reliable, disciplined, and punctual.

 

Good teamwork and communication skills are required.

SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Safety is one of the most important responsibilities of a Mobile Crane Operator.

 

The operator must inspect the crane before use and ensure that the equipment is suitable for the planned operation.

 

The operator must understand the load being lifted, the required lifting procedure, the crane capacity, the operating radius, and the surrounding working conditions.

 

The operator must never operate the crane beyond its approved capacity or outside its operating limitations.

 

The operator must immediately stop work if there is any concern regarding equipment condition, ground stability, load security, weather conditions, communication, or other safety issues.

 

All safety instructions provided by authorized site management must be followed.

 

The operator must contribute to maintaining a safe working environment for everyone involved in lifting activities.
