A professional pet care facility in Kai Tak, Kowloon, Hong Kong is currently looking for responsible, hardworking, and caring individuals to join the team as Cattery Assistants or Cat Care Workers.
This position is suitable for people who enjoy working with animals, especially cats, and want to gain practical experience in the pet care industry. Applicants with previous experience in animal care are welcome, but previous experience is not required. Training and guidance will be provided to suitable candidates.
The successful candidate will assist with the daily care and general well being of cats in the cattery. The main responsibilities include feeding, cleaning, monitoring, handling, and maintaining a comfortable environment for all animals.

Job Responsibilities
Provide daily care and attention to cats staying at the cattery
Prepare food and provide meals according to established feeding schedules
Ensure cats have access to clean and fresh drinking water throughout the day
Monitor feeding habits and report significant changes to supervisors
Clean cat cages and sleeping areas on a regular basis
Clean floors, activity areas, feeding areas, and other spaces used by cats
Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic working environment
Replace bedding and maintain comfortable sleeping areas
Assist with daily cat care routines and basic animal handling
Observe the behavior and general condition of cats
Monitor cats for unusual behavior, changes in activity, or signs of discomfort
Report any unusual behavior or health concerns to supervisors
Handle cats carefully and safely during feeding, cleaning, and other activities
Assist with basic grooming tasks when required
Support bathing or cleaning procedures when instructed and properly trained
Help maintain hygiene standards throughout the cattery
Keep food preparation and storage areas clean and organized
Clean and sanitize equipment used for daily animal care
Assist with receiving and organizing pet care supplies
Support the team during busy periods
Follow all workplace safety and animal care procedures
Complete other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors
