ABOUT THE JOB

 

Selected candidates will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school premises. The cleaning team will help ensure that classrooms, corridors, offices, washrooms, common areas, staff facilities, and other assigned sections remain clean and presentable during working hours.

 

The successful candidates should understand the importance of cleanliness in a school environment and must perform their duties carefully and responsibly. Since the workplace is used by students, teachers, school employees, parents, and visitors, candidates are expected to maintain professional behavior and follow all school rules and workplace procedures.

 

Employees may be required to work according to a daily cleaning schedule and complete tasks assigned by the cleaning supervisor or management.

 

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Clean classrooms, corridors, offices, staff rooms, reception areas, and other designated areas.

 

Sweep, mop, and maintain different types of flooring throughout the school.

 

Clean and sanitize washrooms, sinks, toilets, and other high-use areas.

 

Remove garbage and dispose of waste according to workplace procedures.

 

Clean desks, tables, chairs, doors, windows, glass surfaces, and other areas when required.

 

Keep common areas clean, organized, and presentable.

 

Maintain cleanliness around entrances, stairways, hallways, and school facilities.

 

Use cleaning chemicals, materials, and equipment correctly and safely.

 

Keep cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies properly organized.

 

Check assigned areas regularly and clean them whenever necessary.

 

Follow the daily cleaning schedule provided by the supervisor.

 

Report damaged equipment, maintenance problems, spills, or other safety concerns to the supervisor.

 

Ensure cleaning supplies are used responsibly and stored properly.

 

Assist other members of the cleaning team when required.

 

Perform additional cleaning duties assigned by management or the supervisor.
